The Bobby D. Foundation's mission is to give help and hope to underprivileged children in the Filippi's Pizza Grotto communities by raising funds to provide resources that enable them to reach their full potential. The Little Italy Association (LIA) nonprofit 501c3 corporation for the public’s benefit and advocates on behalf of its members’ best interests in the areas of public safety, beautification, promotion, and economic development, while preserving the unique cultural resources that exist in the Little Italy neighborhood of Downtown San Diego. LIA stands as the only district management corporation of its kind for any Little Italy neighborhood in the United States.

Established in 1925, Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church has guided fisherman safely to shore and has been the home to many families who helped build this beautiful Italian church over 100 years ago. Our Lady of the Rosary Church became the center of spiritual, social and cultural life in San Diego’s Little Italy.
